LO AUTO position shou ld be used for front seat occu-
pants only. The HI AUTO position shou ld be used when
more air flow is desired , or when rear seat occupants are
present. Dial in the comfort setting you would like the
system to maintain by rotating the driver ’s or passenger ’s
control knob. Once the comfort level is selected the
system will maintain that level autom atically using the
heating system . Shou ld the desired comfort level requ ire
air cond itioning, the system will autom atically make the
adjustm ent.

resp ectively. With the tem peratu re setting in these posi-
tions, the system does not attem pt autom atic comfort
control.
The air cond itioning in this system is autom atic.
Pressing this button while in AUTO mode will
cause the LED to flash three times and rem ain off. 4
This ind icates that the system is in AUTO and requ esting
the air cond itioning is not necessary.
The system will autom atically control recircu -
lation. However, pressing this button will tem -
porarily put the system in recircu lation mode.
This can be used when outsid e cond itions such
as smoke, odors, dust, or high hu midity are present. This
will cause the LED to illuminate.
You will experience the greatest efficiency by simply
allow ing the system to function autom atically. Selecting
the OFF position on the fan control stop s the system
completely.
NOTE: The tem peratu re setting can be adjusted at any
time withou t affecting autom atic control operation. How-
ever, if the driver and / or passenger tem peratu re knobs
are set to the full hot or full cold positions, the air
