Programming HomeLink
NOTE:   When  program ming  a garage   door  opener,  it is
advised   to  park   outsid e  the  garage.   It  is  also   recom -
mend ed  that  a  new  battery  be  placed  in  the  hand -held
transm itter
of
the
device
being
program med
to
HomeLink   for  quicker   training   and  accurate   transm is-
sion  of the  rad io-frequ ency signal.
The  Electronic   Vehicle  Inform ation  Center   (EVIC)  fea-
tures
a
driver-interactive      display     which    inclu des
HomeLink  system   messages.  The EVIC  is located  on the
bottom  of the  tachom eter.

Press  and hold  the  two  outer  HomeLink  buttons,   and
release  only when  the EVIC display  show s CHANNELS
CLEARED”  (after  20 second s). Donot  hold  the  buttons
for longer  than  30 second s and donot  rep eat step  one to
program  a  second  and / or third  hand -held  transm itter  to
the  rem aining two  HomeLink   buttons.
