Rear Park Assist Warning Display
When the ignition is changed to the RUN/ ON position,
the warning display will turn ON all of its LEDs for
abou t 1 second . Each side of the warning display has 6
yellow and 2 red LEDs. The vehicle is close to the obstacle
when the red LED is ON.
The Rear Park Assist Warning Disp lay, located in the
head liner near the flipper glass, provid es both visu al and
audible warnings to ind icate the distance betw een the
rear fascia and the detected obstacle.
When the obstacle is detected at a distance of abou t 59
inches (150 cm) from the rear fascia, the outerm ost LEDs
of the warning display will be ON with increased bright-
ness. Along with the LED, a half second tone will occur.
As the distance of the detected obstacle to the rear fascia
decreases, more LEDs are illuminated . When the warning
display has the first 5 yellow LEDs ON, the warning
display will actu ate an interm ittent tone for abou t 10
second s. The rad io will be muted while the tone is
actu ated . The interm ittent tone will increase in frequ ency
as each additional LED is lit.
