TIRE ROTATION RECOMMENDATIONS
NOTE:  The  Prem ium Tire Pressu re Monitor  System  will
autom atically  locate  the pressu re valu es displayed   in  the
correct  vehicle  position  follow ing  a tire rotation.
Tires  on the  front   and  rear  axles  of  vehicles  operate   at
different  load s and  perform   different  steering,  hand ling,
and  braking   functions.   For  these  reasons,  they   wear  at
unequ al  rates, and  develop   irregu lar  wear  patterns.
The  suggested   rotation   method   is  the   forw ard -cross
show n in  the follow ing  diagram .
These  effects can  be  red uced by  timely  rotation   of tires.
The  benefits  of  rotation  are  especially   worthw hile  with
aggressive   tread  designs  such  as those  on  On/  Off Road
typ e tires. Rotation   will increase  tread  life, help  to  main-
tain mud,  snow,  and wet  traction  levels, and  contribu te to
a smooth,   quiet  rid e.
