when   a  system   fault  is  detected .  The  flash   cycle  will
rep eat every   ten  minu tes or  until  the  fault  cond ition  is
rem oved  and reset.
The  system  consists  of  tire pressu  re monitoring   sensors
attached  to each  wheel  throu gh the  valve stem  mounting
hole,  a  central   receiver  module,   Wheel   Sensor  Trigger
Mod ules  mounted    in   three  of   the  four   wheel   wells,
variou s  Tire Pressu re  Monitoring   System  Disp lay  Mes-
sages   in  the   EVIC,  and   a  Tire  Pressu re  Monitoring
Telltale  Light. A sensor   shall  be  installed   in the  spare
wheel  if the vehicle  is equ ipped  with a matching   full size
spare  wheel  and  tire  assem bly.
The Tire Pressu re  Monitor  System (TPMS)  consists  of the
follow ing components:
Receiver  Mod ule
5 Wheel  Sensors  (inclu ding  Full Size  Spare Tire)
4 Wheel  Sensor  Trigger  Mod ules

NOTE:   For vehicles  with  optional   wheel/  tire sizes  and
significantly   different  tire  placard  pressu res,  the  placard
pressu re  valu e and  the  low-pressu  re  threshold   valu e is
re-p rogram mable  at you r authorized  dealer  to  accom mo-
date  the  custom er selected  wheel/  tire  combinations   rec-
ommend  ed by  Daim lerChrysler  Corp oration.
