rem oved and reset.
The system consists of tire pressu re monitoring sensors
attached to each wheel throu gh the valve stem mounting
hole, a central receiver module, Wheel Sensor Trigger
Mod ules mounted in three of the four wheel wells,
variou s Tire Pressu re Monitoring System Disp lay Mes-
sages in the EVIC, and a “Tire Pressu re Monitoring
Telltale Light. ” A sensor shall be installed in the spare
wheel if the vehicle is equ ipped with a matching full size
spare wheel and tire assem bly.
The Tire Pressu re Monitor System (TPMS) consists of the
