CAUTION!
The Tire Pressu re Monitor System (TPMS) uses wireless
technology with wheel rim mounted electronic sensors to
monitor tire pressu re levels. Sensors mounted to each
wheel as part of the valve stem transm it tire pressu re
read ings to the Receiver Mod ule. The wheel sensors
monitor tire pressu re, and statu s for all four active road
tires and the spare tire. The spare tire pressu re is moni-
tored , but not displayed .
After inspecting or adjusting the tire pressure al-
waysreinstallthevalvestemcap.Thiswillprevent
moisture and dirt from entering the valve stem,
whichcoulddamagethewheelrimsensor.
NOTE:
•
The TPMS can inform the driver of a low tire pressu re
cond ition.
NOTE: It is particu larly important, for you to check the
tire pressu re in all of you r tires regu larly and to maintain
the prop er pressu re.

The TPMS is not intend ed to rep lace norm al tire care
and maintenance, nor to provid e warning of a tire
failu re or cond ition.
The “Tire Pressu re Monitoring Telltale Light ” will
illuminate in the instru ment cluster, and an au-
dible chim e will be activated when one or more
tire pressu res is low. The “Tire Pressu re Monitoring
Telltale Light ” will flash on and off for 10 to 60 second s

The TPMS shou ld not be used as a tire pressu re gau ge
while adjusting you r tire pressu re.
