Finish   tightening   the   lug  nu ts.  Push   down   on  the
WARNING!
wrench  while tightening   for increased  leverage.  Alternate
nu ts until   each  nu t  has  been  tightened    twice.  Correct
wheel  nu t tightness   is  130 N·m   (95 ft.  lbs). If  in  doubt
abou t the   correct  tightness,   have  them   checked  with   a
torqu e wrench  by  you r authorized   dealer  or  at a service
station.
Raisingthevehiclehigherthannecessarycanmake
thevehiclelessstable.Itcouldslipoffthejackand
hurtsomeonenearit.Raisethevehicleonlyenough
toremovethetire.

Remove  the  lug nu ts and  wheel.
10.  Lower  the jack  to its  fully closed  position.

Position  the spare  wheel/  tire on the  vehicle and  install
WARNING!
the lug  nu ts with the  cone-shap ed  end tow ard the  wheel.
Lightly  tighten  the  nu ts. To avoid  the  risk  of forcing  the
vehicle  off the jack, do  not tighten  the  nu ts fully until  the
vehicle  has  been lowered  .

Aloosetireorjack,thrownforwardinacollisionor
hard stop could endanger the occupants of the ve-
hicle.Alwaysstowthejackpartsandthesparetirein
theplacesprovided.

Lower  the  vehicle  by  turning   the  jack screw  counter
clockw ise, and  rem ove the  jack and  wheel  blocks.
11.
Secure  the  tire,  jack, and   tools  in their  prop er  loca-
tions.
