will flash and rem ain off. This tells you that you are
unable to go into recircu lation mode at this time. If you
would like to go to Recircu lation mode, you must first
move you r mode knob to panel, panel/ floor or floor,
then hit the Recirc button. This featu re will red uce the
possibility of wind ow fogging.

To provid e you with maxim um comfort in the auto-
matic mode, during cold start-u ps the blow er fan will
rem ain off until the engine warm s up. However, the
fan will engage immediately if the defrost mode is
selected or if you manu ally select a blow er speed .
ManualOperation
This system offers a full complement of manu al overrid e
featu res which consist of Blower Preferred Autom atic,
Mod e Preferred Autom atic with Manu al Air Temperatu re
Control and Manu al. This means the custom er can over-
rid e the blow er, mode and disable autom atic tem peratu re
control completely.

Und er certain cond itions (after the vehicle is turned
off) the climate control system may recalibrate and a
noise may be heard for 20 second s. This is part of
norm al operation.
Most of the time, when in Autom atic operation, you
can tem porarily put the system into recircu lation
mode by pressing the Recirc button. However, und er
certain cond itions in autom atic the system is blow ing
air out of the defrost vents. When these cond itions are
