Tongu e weight rating for the trailer hitch utilized
(This requ irem ent may limit the ability to alw ays
achieve the 10% to 15% range of tongu e weight as a
percentage of total trailer weight).

When rep lacing tires refer to the Tires–General Infor-
mation section of this manu al on Replacem ent Tires for
prop er tire rep lacem ent proced ures. Replacing tires
with a higher load carrying capacity will not increase
the vehicle ’s GVWR and GAWR limits.

Do not attem pt to tow a trailer while using a compact
spare tire.

Prop er tire inflation pressu res are essential to the safe
and satisfactory operation of you r vehicle. Refer to the
Tires–General Inform ation section of this manu al on
Tire Pressu res for prop er tire inflation proced ures.
− Do not interconnect the hyd rau lic brake system or
vacu um system of you r vehicle with that of the trailer.
This could cause inad equ ate braking and possible
personal injury.

Also, check the trailer tires for prop er tire inflation
pressu res before trailer usage.
