The coolant bottle provid es a quick visu al method for
determ ining that the antifreeze/ coolant level is adequ ate.
With the engine idling, and warm to norm al operating
tem peratu re, the level of the antifreeze/ coolant in the
bottle shou ld be betw een the ranges ind icated on the
bottle.

The rad iator norm ally rem ains completely full, so there is
not need to rem ove the rad iator cap unless checking for
antifreeze/ coolant freeze point or rep lacing antifreeze/
coolant. Advise you r service attend ant of this. As long as
the engine operating tem peratu re is satisfactory, the
coolant bottle need only be checked once a month.
