WHAT TO DO IN EMERGENCIES
Be  sure  you r vehicle   is not  tou ching  the   jump  start
vehicle.
EMERGENCY TOW HOOKS IF  EQUIPPED
If you r vehicle is  equ ipped with  tow  hooks,  there will  be
one  in  the  rear   and  two  mounted    on  the  front  of  the
vehicle.  The rear hook  will be  located on  the driver s side
of the  vehicle.
Observe   all  Battery   Warnings    in  Section   7  of  this
manu al, while  jump   starting  you r vehicle.
NOTE:   For off-road  recovery,  it is recom mend ed  to use
both   of  the  front   tow  hooks   to  minim ize  the   risk  of
damage  to  the  vehicle.
WARNING!
Donotattempttopushortowyourvehicletogetit
started. Unburned fuel could enter the  catalytic
converterand,oncetheenginehasstarted,igniteand
damagetheconverterandvehicle.
CAUTION!
Tow hooks are for emergency use only, to rescue a
vehiclestrandedoffroad.Donotusetowhooksfor
tow truck hookup or highway towing. You could
damageyourvehicle.
