slung sports cars are designed to perform satisfactorily in
off-road cond itions. If at all possible, avoid sharp turns or
abru pt maneu vers. As with other vehicles of this typ e,
failu re to operate this vehicle correctly may resu lt in loss
of control or vehicle rollover.
Driving Through Water
Althou gh you r vehicle is capable of driving throu gh
water, there are a nu mber of precau tions that must be
consid ered before entering the water:

through water may cause damage that may not be
coveredbythenewvehiclelimitedwarranty.
NOTE:
Prior to off-road driving, rem ove the front air
dam to prevent damage. The front air dam is attached to
the lower front fascia with quarter turn fasteners, and can
be rem oved by hand .
When To Use 4WD LOW Range — If Equipped
When off-road driving, shift to 4WD LOW for additional
traction. This range shou ld be limited to extrem e situ a-
tions such as deep snow, mud, or sand where additional
low speed pulling power is need ed. Vehicle speed s in
excess of 25 mph (40 km/ h) shou ld be avoid ed when in
4WD LOW range.
Driving throu gh water more than a few inches deep will
requ ire extra caution to ensu re safety and prevent dam-
age to you r vehicle. If you must drive throu gh water, try
to determ ine the depth and the bottom cond ition (and
location of any obstacles) prior to entering. Proceed with
