the  vehicle  on  a flatbed   or with   one  end  of the  vehicle
raised  and  the  other  end  on a  tow ing dolly.
TOWING A DISABLED VEHICLE
2WD Models Only
Provid ed  the  transm  ission  is  operable,   tow  only   in  N
(Neutral)  at  speed s not exceed ing  30 mph (48 km/  h), for
distances   of not  more  than  15 miles  (24 km).  Towing  at
more  than  30 mph  (48 km/  h) or  for  more  than  15 miles

km)  can  cause   severe  transm ission   damage.   If  the
transm ission   is  not   operable,   or  the   vehicle  must   be
tow ed faster  than   30 mph  (48 km/  h)  or farther   than  15
miles (24 km),  rem ove the driveshaft   or tow  with  all four
wheels OFF the  grou nd . Accep table method s  are to  tow
