inclu ding the spare, shou ld be checked monthly when
cold and set to the recom mend ed inflation pressu re as
specified on the vehicle placard .
before engine start. If the bulb does not come on when
turning the ignition key from OFF to ON, have the
cond ition checked prom ptly.
Certain cond itions such has a loose or missing gas cap,
poor fuel quality, etc. may illuminate the light after
engine start. The vehicle shou ld be serviced if the light
stays on throu gh several typ ical driving cycles. In most
situ ations, the vehicle will drive norm ally and will not
requ ire tow ing.

4LO Mode Indica tor Light — If Equipped
This light alerts the driver that the vehicle is in
the 4 LO four–wheel drive mode. The front and
rear driveshafts are mechanically locked to-
gether forcing the front and rear wheels to
rotate at the sam e speed .
When the engine is running, the “Malfu nction Ind icator
Light” may flash to alert of seriou s cond itions that could
lead to immediate loss of power or severe catalytic
converter damage. The vehicle shou ld be serviced as
soon as possible if this occurs.

called OBD II which monitors engine and auto-
