Also, the fuel system will shu t off immediately upon
airbag deploym ent (gasoline models only). The ignition
switch will need to be cycled (i.e. turn the ignition key
from the ON position to the LOCK position) after ap-
proxim ately 5 second s in ord er to restart the vehicle.

Modification s to any part of the airb ag system could cause
it to fail when you need it. You could be injured if the
airb ag system is not there to protect you . Do not modify the
components
or wirin g, including adding any kind of
badges or stick ers to the steerin g wheel hub trim cover or
the upper righ t sid e of the instru ment panel. Do not modify
the fron t bumper, veh icle body stru cture, or add afterm ar-
ket sid e step s or running board s.

Do not attem pt to modify any part of you r advan ced airb ag
system . The airb ag may inflate accid entally or may not
function prop erly if modification s are made. Take you r
veh icle to an authorized dealer for any advan ced airb ag
system service. If you r seat including you r trim cover and
cushion need s to be serviced in any way, tak e the veh icle to
you r authorized dealer. Only manufactu rer approved seat
accessories may be used . If it is necessary to modify an
advan ced airb ag system for person s with disab ilities, con-
tact you r authorized dealer.
