Coolan t Level
The coolant recovery bottle provid es a quick visu al
method for determ ining that the coolant level is ad-
equ ate. The coolant level must be at or above the COLD
FULL level on the bottle. The rad iator norm ally rem ains
completely full, so there is no need to rem ove the rad iator
cap unless checking for coolant freeze point or rep lacing
coolant. Advise you r service attend ant of this. As long as
the engine operating tem peratu re is satisfactory, the
coolant bottle need only be checked once a month.
When additional coolant is need ed to maintain the
prop er level, it shou ld be added to the coolant recovery
bottle. Do not overfill.

NOTE: When the vehicle is stop ped after a few miles of
operation, you may observe vap or coming from the front
of the engine compartm ent. This is norm ally a resu lt of
