The rearview mirror contains the microp hone for the
system and the control buttons that will enable you to
access the system . The diagram below show s the mirror
with the approp riate buttons. Ind ivid ual button behavior
is discussed in the “Op eration” Section.
UConnect™ allow s you to transfer calls betw een the
system and you r cellular phone as you enter or exit you r
vehicle, and enables you to mute the system ’s micro-
phone for private conversations.

The UConnect™; phone book enables you to store up to

nam es and four nu mbers per nam e. This system is
driven throu gh you r Bluetooth™ Hand s-Free Profile
cellular phone. UConnect™ featu res Bluetooth™ technol-
ogy - the global stand ard that enables different electronic
devices to connect to each other withou t wires or a
docking station, so UConnect™ works no matter where
you stow you r cellular phone (be it you r purse, pocket, or
briefcase). UConnect™ allow s up to seven cellular
phones to be linked to the system , and it is available in
English, French, or Spanish form ats (as equ ipped).
The UConnect™ system can be used with any Hand s
Free Profile certified Bluetooth™ cellular phone. If you r
