If you r Remote Keyless Entry fails to operate from a
norm al distance, check for these two cond itions:
1.
Weak batteries in transm itter. The expected life of
batteries is from one to two years
2.
Closeness to a rad io transm itter such as a rad io station
tow er, airp ort transm itter, and som e mobile or CB rad ios.
Transmitter Battery Service
The recom mend ed rep lacem ent battery is the Panasonic
CR2016 or equ ivalent.
2. Remove and rep lace the batteries. Avoid tou ching the
new batteries with you r fingers. Skin oils may cause
battery deterioration. If you tou ch the battery, clean it
with rubbing alcohol.

Pry the transm itter halves apart with a dime or similar
object. Make sure not to damage the rubber gasket
material during rem oval.
3. Reassem ble the transm itter case. Snap the halves
together and test transm itter operation.
