Engin e Oil Filter Selection
The manu factu rer stron gly recom mends against the ad-
dition of any additives (other than leak detection dyes) to
engine oil. Engine oil is an engineered prod uct and it’s
perform ance may be impaired by supplemental addi-
tives.
All of the manu factu rer’s engines have a full-flow typ e
disposable oil filter. Use a filter of this typ e for rep lace-
ment. The quality of rep lacem ent filters varies consid er-
ably. Only high quality filters shou ld be used to assu re
most efficient service. Mop ar engine oil filters are high
quality oil filters and are recom mend ed.

you r vehicle. Used oil and oil filters, ind iscrim inately

Contact you r authorized dealer, service station, or gov-
ernm ental agency for advice on how and where used oil
can be safely discard ed in you r area.
