Power door lock/unlock inhibit feature (if equipped)
Ifthekeyisnotintheignition,alldoorsareclosed,andthevehiclehas
beenlockedusingtheremoteentrytransmitter,keypad(ifequipped)or
thepowerdoorunlockcontrolonthedoorpanelwhileafrontdooris
open(thensubsequentlyclosed),thepowerdoorunlockcontrolonthe
doorpanelwillbecomedisabled20secondsafterthelockevent
occurred.Yourvehiclecomeswiththisfeatureenabled,butthereare
twomethodstodisableit:

Throughyourauthorizeddealer,or
Performingthefollowingpowerdoorlockcontrolprocedure.
Beforefollowingtheactivationordeactivationprocedures,makesure
thattheanti-theftsystemisnotarmed,ignitionisinthe1(OFF/LOCK)
position,andallvehicledoors,liftgateandliftgatewindowareclosed.
YoumustcompleteSteps1-5within30secondsortheprocedurewill
havetoberepeated.Iftheprocedureneedstoberepeated,youmust
wait30seconds.Note:Alldoorsmustbeclosedandremainclosed
throughouttheconfigurationprocess.

Placethekeyintheignitionandturntheignitiontothe3(ON)
position.
2.
Pressthepowerdoorunlockcontrolonthedoorpanelthreetimes.
3.
Turntheignitionfromthe3(ON)positiontothe1(OFF/LOCK)
position.
4.
5.
Pressthepowerdoorunlockcontrolonthedoorpanelthreetimes.
Turntheignitionbacktothe3(ON)position.Thehornwillchirpone
timetoconfirmprogrammingmodehasbeenenteredandisactive.
6.
Pressthepowerdoorlockcontrolonthedoorpaneltwotimeswithin
fiveseconds.Thehornwillchirponceiftrimswitchinhibitwas
deactivatedortwice(oneshortandonelongchirp)iftrimswitchinhibit
wasactivated.
7.
Turntheignitiontothe1(OFF/LOCK)position.Thehornwillchirp
oncetoconfirmtheprocedureiscomplete.
