Donotrockthevehicleiftheengineisnotatnormaloperating
temperatureordamagetothetransmissionmayoccur.
Donotrockthevehicleformorethanaminuteordamagetothe
transmissionandtiresmayoccur,ortheenginemayoverheat.
REVERSE SENSING SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
Thereversesensingsystemsoundsatonetowarnthedriverofobstacles
neartherearbumperwhentheR(Reverse)gearisselected.
Tohelpavoidpersonalinjury,pleasereadandunderstandthe
limitationsofthereversesensingsystemascontainedinthis
section.Theparkassistisonlyanaidforsome(generallylargeand
fixed)objectswhenmovinginreverseonaflatsurfaceat“parking
speeds”.InclementweathermayalsoaffectthefunctionoftheRSS;
thismayincludereducedperformanceorafalseactivation.
Tohelpavoidpersonalinjury,alwaysusecautionwheninR
(Reverse)andwhenusingthereversesensingsystem.
Thissystemisnotdesignedtopreventcontactwithsmallor
movingobjects.Thesystemisdesignedtoprovideawarningto
assistthedriverindetectingobjectstoavoiddamagingthevehicle.
Thesystemmaynotdetectsmallerobjects,particularlythosecloseto
theground.
