locatedtowardthefrontofthevehicle(forwardofthebattery)onthe
radiatorsupport.Keepthenegative(-)cableawayfromthebatteryand
thecarburetor/fuelinjectionsystem.Donotusefuellines,enginerocker
coversortheintakemanifoldasgroundingpoints.
Donotconnecttheendofthesecondcabletothenegative(-)
terminalofthebatterytobejumped.Asparkmaycausean
explosionofthegasesthatsurroundthebattery.

Ensurethatthecablesareclearoffanblades,belts,movingpartsof
bothengines,oranyfueldeliverysystemparts.
Jump starting
1.
Starttheengineoftheboostervehicleandruntheengineat
moderatelyincreasedspeed.
2.
3.
Starttheengineofthedisabledvehicle.
Oncethedisabledvehiclehasbeenstarted,runbothenginesforan
additionalthreeminutesbeforedisconnectingthejumpercables.
