T:Indicatesatypeoftire,
designatedbytheTireandRim
Association(T&RA),thatis
intendedfortemporaryserviceon
cars,SUVs,minivansandlight
trucks.
2.
145:Indicatesthenominalwidth
ofthetireinmillimetersfromsidewalledgetosidewalledge.Ingeneral,
thelargerthenumber,thewiderthetire.
3.
80:Indicatestheaspectratiowhichgivesthetire’sratioofheightto
width.Numbersof70orlowerindicateashortsidewall.
4.
D:Indicatesa“diagonal”typetire.
R:Indicatesa“radial”typetire.
5.
16:Indicatesthewheelorrimdiameterininches.Ifyouchangeyour
wheelsize,youwillhavetopurchasenewtirestomatchthenewwheel
diameter.

YouwillfindaTireLabelcontainingtireinflationpressurebytiresize
andotherimportantinformationlocatedontheB-Pillarortheedgeof
