Using the Control Trac  4WD system
4X4AUTO-Provideselectronically-controlledfour-wheeldrivewith
powerdeliveredtoallfourwheelsasrequiredfortraction.Thismodeis
appropriateforallon-roaddrivingconditions,includingdryroad
surfaces,wetpavement,snowandgravel.
4X4HIGH(4WDHigh)-Provideslockedfour-wheeldrivepowertoall
fourwheels.Thismodeisnotintendedforuseondrypavement.This
modeisappropriateforseverewinterandoff-roadconditions,suchas
deepsnow,iceorshallowsand.
4X4LOW(4WDLow)-Provideslockedfour-wheeldrivepowerwhen
extrapoweratreducedspeedsisrequired.Thismodeisnot
recommendedforuseondrypavement.Usethismodeforoff-road,
low-speedoperationorwhenextrapowerisrequired,suchasclimbing
steepgrades,goingthroughdeepsand,orpullingaboatoutofthe
water.
Shifting between 4X4 AUTO  (4WD Auto) and 4X4 HIGH (4WD  High)

forwardspeed.
Note:Donotperformthisoperationiftherearwheelsareslipping.

Pressthedesired4WDposition.
Ifshiftinginto4x4LOW(4WDLow),waitforthe4X4LOWlightin
theinstrumentclustertoturnonindicatingtheshiftiscomplete.

Ifshiftingoutof4X4LOW(4WDLow),waitforthe4X4LOWlightin
theinstrumentclustertoturnoffindicatingtheshiftiscomplete.
Ifanyoftheaboveshiftconditionsarenotmet,theshiftwillnotoccur
andthemessagecenterwilldisplaytheappropriateinformation.
ALL WHEEL DRIVE (AWD)  SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
ForthelubricantspecificationandrefillcapacityoftheAWDtransfer
