surfaceofthewindshieldandthewiperbladesusingaspongeorsoft
clothwithaneutraldetergentormild-abrasivecleaningsolution.After
cleaning,rinsethewindshieldandwiperbladeswithcleanwater.The
windshieldiscleanifbeadsdonotformwhenyourinsethewindshield
withwater.
Donotusesharpobjects,suchasarazorblade,tocleanthe
insideoftherearwindowortoremovedecals,asitmaycause
damagetotherearwindowdefroster’sheatedgridlines.

Cleantheinstrumentpanel,interiortrimareasandclusterlenswitha
cleananddampwhitecottoncloth,thenwithacleananddrywhite
cottoncloth;youmayalsouseMotorcraftDash&VinylCleaner
(ZC-38-A)ontheinstrumentpanelandinteriortrimareas.

Avoidcleanersorpolishesthatincreasetheglossoftheupperportion
oftheinstrumentpanel.Thedullfinishinthisareahelpsprotectthe
driverfromundesirablewindshieldreflection.

Becertaintowashorwipeyourhandscleanifyouhavebeenin
contactwithcertainproductssuchasinsectrepellentandsuntan
lotioninordertoavoidpossibledamagetotheinteriorpainted
surfaces.

Donotusehouseholdorglasscleanersasthesemaydamagethe
finishoftheinstrumentpanel,interiortrimandclusterlens.
Donotusechemicalsolventsorstrongdetergentswhencleaning
thesteeringwheelorinstrumentpaneltoavoidcontaminationof
theairbagsystem.
Ifastainingliquidlikecoffee/juicehasbeenspilledontheinstrument
paneloroninteriortrimsurfaces,cleanasfollows:
