Personswhoareunabletofeelpaintotheskinbecauseof
advancedage,chronicillness,diabetes,spinalcordinjury,
medication,alcoholuse,exhaustion,orotherphysicalconditions,must
exercisecarewhenusingtheseatheater.Theseatheatermaycause
burnsevenatlowtemperatures,especiallyifusedforlongperiodsof
time.Donotplaceanythingontheseatthatinsulatesagainstheat,
suchasablanketorcushion,becausethismaycausetheseatheater
tooverheat.Donotpuncturetheseatwithpins,needles,orother
pointedobjectsbecausethismaydamagetheheatingelementwhich
maycausetheseatheatertooverheat.Anoverheatedseatmaycause
seriouspersonalinjury.
