Liftupontheheadrestraintuntil
itlocksintoitsoriginalposition.
Beforereturningtheseatbacktoitsoriginalposition,makesure
thatcargooranyobjectsarenottrappedbehindtheseatback.
Afterreturningtheseatbacktoitsoriginalposition,pullonthe
seatbacktoensurethatithasfullylatched.Anunlatchedseatmay
becomedangerousintheeventofasuddenstoporcollision.
Note:Invehiclesequippedwith3rdrowseats,the2ndrow
recline/unlatchhandleontheoutboardsidesofboth60%and40%seats
shouldnotbeusedasagrabhandletoraisetheentireseatupfrom
cargomode(kneelingposition),ortoloweritfromitstumbledposition.
Thishandleisthereonlytoreclinetheseatbackandtounlatchtherear
seat/floorattachment,inordertotumbletheseatintheforward
direction.Toraisetheseatupfromthecargomode(kneelingposition),
theentireseatshouldbeliftedupusingtheseatbackortheseat
cushionareaasagrabbingsurface.

Pullonthelever/strap(as
equipped)locatedatthebottom
rightoftheseatbacktoreleasethe

seatuptowardsthefrontseat.

Followthedirectionsaboveto
returntheseatbackfromtheloadfloorandtotheuprightposition.
