Recliningtheseatbackcancauseanoccupanttoslideunderthe
seat’ssafetybelt,resultinginseverepersonalinjuriesinthe
eventofacollision.
Donotpilecargohigherthantheseatbackstoreducetheriskof
injuryinacollisionorsuddenstop.
Beforereturningtheseatbacktoitsoriginalposition,makesure
thatcargooranyobjectsarenottrappedbehindtheseatback.
Afterreturningtheseatbacktoitsoriginalposition,pullonthe
seatbacktoensurethatithasfullylatched.Anunlatchedseatmay
becomedangerousintheeventofasuddenstoporcollision.
Adjustable head restraints
Tominimizetheriskofneckinjuryintheeventofacrash,the
driverandpassengeroccupantsshouldnotsitinand/oroperate
thevehicle,untiltheheadrestraintisplacedinitsproperposition.The
drivershouldneveradjusttheheadrestraintwhilethevehicleisin
motion.
Headrestraintshelptolimitheadmotionintheeventofarearcollision.
Theseatsinyourvehiclehaveadjustableheadrestraints.Adjustyour
headrestraintsothatitislocateddirectlyorascloseaspossiblebehind
yourhead.
Theheadrestraintscanbemoved
upanddown(onfirstrowseats
only).
