withgreasefittings,lubricationwillbenecessary.

Note:Yourvehicle’sdriveshaftisbalanced.Ifundercoatingthevehicle,

protectthedriveshaftanduniversaljointstopreventoversprayofany

undercoatingmaterial.

AIR FILTER

Refertoscheduledmaintenanceinformationfortheappropriate

intervalsforchangingtheairfilterelement.

Whenchangingtheairfilterelement,useonlytheMotorcraftairfilter

elementlisted.RefertoMotorcraftpartnumbersinthischapter.

Toreducetheriskofvehicledamageand/orpersonalburn

injuriesdonotstartyourenginewiththeaircleanerremoved

anddonotremoveitwhiletheengineisrunning.
