shouldbeaddedbyanauthorizeddealer.
Donotusesupplementaltransmissionfluidadditives,treatmentsor
cleaningagents.Theuseofthesematerialsmayaffecttransmission
operationandresultindamagetointernaltransmissioncomponents.

Turnoffthepowerrunning
boards,ifequipped,before
workingunderthevehicle,jacking
orplacinganyobjectunderthe
vehicle.Neverplaceyourhand
betweentheextendedrunning
boardandthevehicle.Amoving
runningboardmaycauseinjury.

Removethefillerplugandinspectthefluidlevel.
Addonlyenoughfluidthrough
thefilleropeningsothatthefluid
levelisatthebottomofthe
opening.
UseonlyfluidthatmeetsFordspecifications.RefertotheMaintenance
productspecificationsandcapacitiessectioninthischapter.
DRIVELINE UNIVERSAL JOINT AND  SLIP YOKE
Turnoffthepowerrunningboards,ifequipped,beforeworking
underthevehicle,jackingorplacinganyobjectunderthe
vehicle.Neverplaceyourhandbetweentheextendedrunningboard
andthevehicle.Amovingrunningboardmaycauseinjury.
