soonaspossible.
TheuseoftiresealantsmaydamageyourTirePressure
MonitoringSystemandshouldnotbeused.
RefertoTirePressureMonitoringSystem(TPMS)inthe
Tires,WheelsandLoadingchapterforimportantinformation.If
thetirepressuremonitorsensorbecomesdamaged,itwillnolonger
function.

Failuretofollowtheseguidelinescouldresultinanincreased
riskoflossofvehiclecontrol,injuryordeath.
Note:Turnoffthepowerrunningboards(ifequipped)beforedriving
withadissimilarsparetire/wheel.RefertoRunningboardsinthe
DriverControlschapter.
Ifyouhaveadissimilarsparetire/wheel,thenitisintendedfor
temporaryuseonly.Thismeansthatifyouneedtouseit,youshould
replaceitassoonaspossiblewitharoadtire/wheelthatisthesamesize
andtypeastheroadtiresandwheelsthatwereoriginallyprovidedby
Ford.Ifthedissimilarsparetireorwheelisdamaged,itshouldbe
replacedratherthanrepaired.
Adissimilarsparetire/wheelisdefinedasasparetireand/orwheelthat
isdifferentinbrand,sizeorappearancefromtheroadtiresandwheels
andcanbeoneofthreetypes:

sizeandmayhave“TemporaryUseOnly”moldedinthesidewall
