Important safety precautions
Donotoverfillthefueltank.Thepressureinanoverfilledtank
maycauseleakageandleadtofuelsprayandfire.
Thefuelsystemmaybeunderpressure.Ifthefuelfillercapis
ventingvapororifyouhearahissingsound,waituntilitstops
beforecompletelyremovingthefuelfillercap.Ifyouhearahissing
soundnearthefuelfillerdoor(EasyFuel™“nocap”fuelsystem),wait
untilitstopsbeforerefueling.Otherwise,fuelmaysprayoutandinjure
youorothers.
Ifyoudonotusetheproperfuelfillercap,excessivevacuumin
thefueltankmaydamagethefuelsystemorcausethefuelcap
todisengageinacollision,whichmayresultinseriouspersonalinjury.
Automotivefuelscancauseseriousinjuryordeathifmisusedor
mishandled.
Gasolinemaycontainbenzene,whichisacancer-causingagent.
Observethefollowingguidelineswhenhandlingautomotivefuel:

refuelingyourvehicle.

Automotivefuelscanbeharmful
orfatalifswallowed.Fuelsuchasgasolineishighlytoxicandif
swallowedcancausedeathorpermanentinjury.Iffuelisswallowed,
callaphysicianimmediately,evenifnosymptomsareimmediately
apparent.Thetoxiceffectsoffuelmaynotbevisibleforhours.
Avoidinhalingfuelvapors.Inhalingtoomuchfuelvaporofanykind
canleadtoeyeandrespiratorytractirritation.Inseverecases,
excessiveorprolongedbreathingoffuelvaporcancauseserious
illnessandpermanentinjury.
