Ensurethereceptacleterminalsarecleananddrypriortouse.Toclean
them,useadrycloth.
Dependingonthetypeoffactoryinstalledequipment,yourengineblock
heatersystemmayconsumeanywherebetween400wattsor1000watts
ofenergyperhour.Yourfactoryinstalledblockheatersystemdoesnot
haveathermostat;however,maximumtemperatureisattainedafter
approximately3hoursofoperation.Blockheateroperationlongerthan3
hourswillnotimprovesystemperformanceandwillunnecessarilyuse
additionalelectricity.
Makesuresystemisunpluggedandproperlystowedbeforedrivingthe
vehicle.Whilenotinuse,makesuretheprotectivecoversealsthe
prongsoftheengineblockheatercordplug.
BRAKES
Occasionalbrakenoiseisnormal.Ifametal-to-metal,continuousgrinding
orcontinuoussquealsoundispresent,thebrakeliningsmaybeworn-out
andshouldbeinspectedbyanauthorizeddealer.Ifthevehiclehas
continuousvibrationorshudderinthesteeringwheelwhilebraking,the
vehicleshouldbeinspectedbyanauthorizeddealer.

brakepedalpulsationmaybeobservedduringABSbrakingandthe
brakepedalmaysuddenlytravelalittlefartherassoonasABSbrakingis
doneandnormalbrakeoperationresumes.Thesearenormal
characteristicsoftheABSandshouldbenoreasonforconcern.
