Lowfuel:Displayswhenthefuel
levelinthefueltankisatornear
empty(refertoFuelgaugeinthis
chapter).
Powertrainmalfunction/Reduced
power/Electronicthrottle
control:Displayswhentheengine
hasdefaultedtoa“limp-home”
operationorwhenatransmissionproblemhasbeendetectedandshifting
mayberestricted.Ifthelightremainson,havethesystemserviced
immediatelybyyourauthorizeddealer.
Brakesystemwarninglight:To
confirmthebrakesystemwarning
lightisfunctional,itwill
momentarilyilluminatewhentheignitionisturnedtotheonposition
whentheengineisnotrunning,orinapositionbetweenonandstart,or
byapplyingtheparkingbrakewhentheignitionisturnedtotheon
position.
Ifthebrakesystemwarninglightdoesnotilluminateatthistime,seek
serviceimmediatelyfromyourauthorizeddealer.Illuminationafter
releasingtheparkingbrakeindicateslowbrakefluidlevelandthebrake
systemshouldbeinspectedimmediatelybyyourauthorizeddealer.
WARNING:Drivingavehiclewiththebrakesystemwarning
lightonisdangerous.Asignificantdecreaseinbraking
performancemayoccur.Itwilltakeyoulongertostopthevehicle.
Havethevehiclecheckedbyyourauthorizeddealer.Drivingextended
distanceswiththeparkingbrakeengagedcancausebrakefailureand
theriskofpersonalinjury.
