WhenAdvanceTracperformsanormalsystemself-check,somedrivers

grindingnoiseafterstartupandwhendrivingoff.
WhenaneventoccursthatactivatesAdvanceTrac,youmayexperience

Thestabilitycontrollightwillflash.
Avibrationinthepedalwhenyourfootisonthebrakepedal
Ifthedrivingconditionissevereandyourfootisnotonthebrake,the
brakepedalmaymoveasthesystemsapplieshigherbrakeforces.You
mayalsohearawhooshofairfromundertheinstrumentpanelduring
thisseverecondition.

Thebrakepedalmayfeelstifferthanusual.
Tractioncontrolsystem(TCS)
Tractioncontrolisadriveraidfeaturethathelpsyourvehiclemaintain
tractionofthewheels,typicallywhendrivingonslipperyand/orhilly
roadsurfaces,bydetectingandcontrollingwheelspin.
Excessivewheelspiniscontrolledintwoways,whichmaywork
separatelyorintandem,enginetractioncontrolandbraketraction
control.Enginetractioncontrolworkstolimitdrive-wheelspinby
momentarilyreducingenginepower.Braketractioncontrolworkstolimit
wheelspinbymomentarilyapplyingthebrakestothewheelthatis
slipping.Tractioncontrolismostactiveatlowspeeds.
DuringTCSevents,thestabilitycontrollightintheinstrumentcluster
willflash.
IftheTCSisactivatedexcessivelyinashortperiodoftime,thebraking
portionofthesystemmaybecometemporarilydisabledtoallowthe
brakestocooldown.Inthissituation,TCSwilluseonlyenginepower
reductionortransfertohelpcontrolthewheelsfromover-spinning.
Whenthebrakeshavecooleddown,thesystemwillregainallfeatures.
Anti-lockbraking,andESCarenotaffectedbythisconditionandwill
continuetofunctionduringthecool-downperiod.
