thetrafficintheadjacentlaneisat

goingtochangelanes.Glanceover
yourshouldertoverifytrafficis
clear,andcarefullychangelanes.
Whentheapproachingvehicleisat
adistance,itsimageissmalland
neartheinboardedgeofthemain
mirror.Asthevehicleapproaches,
theimagebecomeslargerand

beginstomoveoutboardacrossthe
mainmirror(1).Asthevehicle
approachesitsimagewilltransition
fromthemainmirrorandbeginto
