Whenthebatteryisdisconnectedoranewbatteryinstalled,the
automatictransmissionmustrelearnitsadaptivestrategy.Asaresultof
this,thetransmissionmayshiftfirmlywhenfirstdriven.Thisoperationis
considerednormalandwillfullyupdatetransmissionoperationtoits
optimumshiftfeel.
Ifthebatteryhasbeendisconnectedoranewbatteryhasbeeninstalled,
theclockandthepresetradiostationsmustberesetoncethebatteryis
reconnected.

standardsfordisposal.Callyour
localauthorizedrecyclingcenter
tofindoutmoreaboutrecycling

ENGINE COOLANT
Checking engine coolant
Theconcentrationandlevelofenginecoolantshouldbecheckedatthe
intervalslistedinscheduledmaintenanceinformation.Thecoolant
concentrationshouldbemaintainedat50/50coolantanddistilledwater.
Coolantconcentrationtestingispossiblewithahydrometerorantifreeze
tester.ThelevelofcoolantshouldbemaintainedattheFULLCOLD
levelorwithintheCOLDFILLRANGEinthecoolantreservoir.Ifthe
levelfallsbelow,addcoolantpertheinstructionsintheAddingengine
coolantsection.
Yourvehiclewasfactory-filledwitha50/50enginecoolantandwater
concentration.Iftheconcentrationofcoolantfallsbelow40%orabove
60%,
