Pullthewiperarmawayfromthe

Removethewiperblade(2).

Note:Makesurethewiperbladelocksintoplace.
ENGINE OIL
Checking the engine oil
Refertothescheduledmaintenanceinformationfortheappropriate
intervalsforcheckingtheengineoil.

Makesurethevehicleisatnormaloperatingtemperatureandparked
onlevelground.
Turntheengineoffandwait15minutesfortheoiltodrainintothe
oilpan.

Settheparkingbrakeandensurethegearshiftissecurelylatchedin
1stgear.

Openthehood,thenlocateandcarefullyremovetheengineoillevel
dipstick.

Wipethedipstickclean.Insertthedipstickfully,thenremoveitagain.

IftheoillevelisbetweentheMINandMAXmarks,theoillevelis
acceptable.DONOTADDOIL.
•
IftheoillevelisbelowtheMIN
mark,addenoughengineoilto
raisethelevelwithintheMINand
MAXrange.RefertoAdding
engineoilinthischapter.
•
OillevelsaboveMAXmark
maycauseenginedamage.If
theengineisoverfilled,someoil
mustberemovedfromtheenginebyanauthorizeddealer.

Putthedipstickbackinandensureitisfullyseated.
