Ifbothfrontdoorsareclosed,thevehiclecanbelockedbyanymethod,
regardlessofwhetherthekeyisintheignitionornot.
Smartlocksforintelligentaccesskeys(IAkey)(ifequipped)
Thisfeatureisintendedtopreventyoufromunintentionallylockingyour
IAkeyinsideyourvehicle.
Ifyourvehicle’sperimeteralarmisinthearmedstate,thesmartlocks
featurewillnotallowyoutolockyourIAkeyinsidethevehicle.When
thealarmisarmed,iftheIAkeyisdetectedinthevehicle,thevehicle
willautomaticallyunlock.Theexteriorlightswillflashandthehornwill
chirptwicetoindicatetheIAkeyisinside.IfyourIAkeyisdetectedin
thetrunk(ifequipped),thetrunklidwillreopenthoughtherewillbeno
feedbackfromthehornorlights.
Central locking/unlocking
Tocentrallylock/unlockalldoors(fromthedriver’ssideonly)usingthe
keyfromtheoutsidewhentheyareclosed:

Turnthekeycounterclockwisetolockalldoors.Theturnsignallamps
willflashtwice.
Turnthekeyclockwiseoncetounlockthedriver’sdoorortwiceto
unlockalldoors.Theturnsignallampswillflashonce.
Ifthecentrallockingfunctionfails
tooperate,thedoorscanbe
individuallylockedusingthekeyin
thepositionshown.
Onthedriver’sside,turnthekey
clockwisetolock,andonthe
passenger’ssideturnthekey
counterclockwisetolock.
Delayed Locking
Ifyoutrytoelectricallylockthedoorswhiletheyareopen,theywillnot
lockuntilthedoorsareclosed.Thisfeatureonlyworkswhensmartlocks
arenotactive.SeeSmartlocksinthissectionformoreinformation
