Makesurethatyourvehicleisatacompletestopbeforeyoushift
intoR(Reverse).Failuretodosomaydamagethetransmission.
Holdtheclutchpedaldownandmovethegearshiftleverintotheneutral
position.WaitatleastthreesecondsbeforeshiftingintoR(Reverse).
Note:ThegearshiftlevercanonlybemovedintoR(Reverse)bymoving
itfromleftof3(Third)and4(Fourth)beforeshiftingintoR(Reverse).
Thisisalockoutfeaturethatprotectsthetransmissionfromaccidentally
beingshiftedintoR(Reverse)from5(Fifth).
IfR(Reverse)isnotfullyengaged,presstheclutchpedaldownand
returnthegearshifttotheneutralposition.Releasetheclutchpedalfor
amoment,thenpressitdownandshifttoR(Reverse)again.
Parking your vehicle
1.
Applythebrakeandshiftintotheneutralposition.
2.
Fullyapplytheparkingbrake,holdtheclutchpedaldown,thenshift
into1(First).
3.
Turntheignitionoff.
WARNING:DonotparkyourvehicleinNeutral,itmaymove
unexpectedlyandinjuresomeone.Use1(First)gearandsetthe
parkingbrakefully.
