Note:Donotattachthenegative(-)cabletofuellines,enginerocker
covers,theintakemanifoldorelectricalcomponentsasgroundingpoints.
WARNING:Donotconnecttheendofthesecondcabletothe
negative(-)terminalofthebatterytobejumped.Asparkmay
causeanexplosionofthegasesthatsurroundthebattery.
Ensurethatthecablesareclearoffanblades,belts,movingpartsofboth
engines,oranyfueldeliverysystemparts.
Jump starting
1.
Starttheengineoftheboostervehicleandruntheengineat
moderatelyincreasedspeed.
2.

Starttheengineofthedisabledvehicle.
Oncethedisabledvehiclehasbeenstarted,runbothenginesforan
additionalthreeminutesbeforedisconnectingthejumpercables.
