Thefirstthingyoumustdotousethesystemisto’pair’yourBluetooth௡
enabledphonewithyourvehicle’sSYNC௡system.Thisprocessallows
yourphonetowirelesslycommunicatewiththehands-freeSYNC௡
systemandensuresthatotherphonescannotinadvertentlydoso.To
pairyourphoneforthefirsttime:

Ensurethatthevehicleignitionandaudiosystemareonandthatyour
vehicleisinP(Park).
PressPHONEtoenterthephonemenu.SYNCwillattempttoconnect
andthedisplaywillindicatenophoneispaired.
WhenAddBluetoothDeviceappears,pressOK.Thesystemwillaide
youwithvoicepromptstocompletetheprocess.
WhenFindSYNCappearsinthedisplay,pressOK.Followthe

BluetoothDiscoverymode.AsixdigitPINwillappearinthedisplay.

downloadingyourphonebook.PressOKforyesandfollowtheprompts
asnecessary.
Note:Yoursettingforthephonebookwillbesavedinthesystem.Ifyou
choosetodownloadthephonebook,thephonebookwilldownloaded
eachtimeyourphoneisreconnectedtothesystem(uponeachignition
cycle).
Note:Dependingonthesizeofyourphonebook,itmaytakeafew
momentsforthesystemtofullydownloadtheentirephonebook.

thensay“Dial”.
Toerasethelastspokendigit,say“Delete”.
Toeraseallspokendigits,say“Clear”.

Oncethedesirednumber/contactisonthescreen,eithersay“Call”or
“Dial”.Thesystemwillconnecttothedesirednumber.
Note:Oncethecallisplaced,itwillbeloggedintoyouroutgoingcall
historyfolder.
