Thevehicleisdisarmedimmediatelyaftertheignitionisturnedon.
IfequippedwithIKTs,thetheftindicatorwillilluminateforthree
secondsandthengoout.Ifthetheftindicatorstaysonforanextended
periodoftimeorflashesrapidly,contactyourauthorizeddealerassoon
aspossible.
Replacement of integrated keyhead transmitters (IKT) or intelligent
access keys
Note:Yourvehiclecomesequippedwithtwointegratedkeyhead
transmitters(IKTs)ortwointelligentaccesskeys.
Theintegratedkeyheadtransmitter(IKT)functionsasbotha
programmedignitionkeythatoperatesallthelocksandstartsthe
vehicle,aswellasaremotekeylessentrytransmitter.Amaximumof
eightcodedkeyscanbeprogrammedtoyourvehicle;onlyfourofthese
eightcodedkeyscanbeIKTswithremoteentryfunctionality.
Theintelligentaccesskeyfunctionsasbothaprogrammedkeythat
operatesthedriverdoorlock,activatesintelligentaccesswithpush
buttonstartsystemsaswellasaremotekeylessentrytransmitter.A
maximumoffourintelligentaccesskeyscanbeprogrammedtoyour
vehicle.
IfyourprogrammedtransmittersorstandardSecuriLockcodedkeys
(IKTsonly)arelostorstolenandyoudon’thaveanextracodedkey,you
willneedtohaveyourvehicletowedtoanauthorizeddealer.Thekey
codesneedtobeerasedfromyourvehicleandnewcodedkeyswillneed
tobeprogrammed.
Replacingcodedkeyscanbeverycostly.Storeanextraprogrammedkey
awayfromthevehicleinasafeplacetohelppreventany
inconveniences.Pleasevisitanauthorizeddealertopurchaseadditional
spareorreplacementkeys.
Programming spare keys
Integratedkeyheadtransmitter(IKT)
Youcanprogramyourownintegratedkeyheadtransmittersorstandard
SecuriLockcodedkeystoyourvehicle.Thisprocedurewillprogram
boththeengineimmobilizerkeycodeandtheremoteentrytransmitter
portionoftheIKTtoyourvehicle.Note:Amaximumofeightcoded
keyscanbeprogrammedtoyourvehicle;onlyfouroftheseeightcanbe
IKTswithremoteentryfunctionality.
