MULTI-FUNCTION LEVER
Windshieldwiper:Rotatetheend
ofthecontrolawayfromyouto
increasethespeedofthewipers;
rotatetowardyoutodecreasethe
speedofthewipers.
Rain-sensingwipers(if
equipped):Therain-sensingwipers
willautomaticallyactivatewhen
moistureispresentonthe
windshieldandthemulti-function
switchissettooneoffive
auto/intervalmoisturesensitivitysettings.Rotatetheendofthecontrol
towardthewindshieldtoincreasethesensitivity.Thespeedofthe
rain-sensitivewiperswillvarybasedontheamountofmoisturedetected
onthewindshieldandtheauto/intervalsetting.Therearenointerval
(intermittentwipe)settingsonvehicleswithrain-sensingwipers.The
wiperswillcontinuetowipeaslongasthepresenceofmoistureis
detectedonthewindshield.Moreorlesswipingmayoccurdependingon
humidity,mistorlightrain,orroadspray.
Keeptheoutsideofthewindshieldclean,especiallytheareaaroundthe
rearviewmirrorwherethesensorislocatedorrainsensorperformance
maybeaffected.
Note:Duringwinterdrivingconditionswithice,snoworasaltyroad
mist,inconsistentorunexpectedwipingorsmearingmayoccur.Inthese
conditions,youcanlowerthesensitivitytoreducetheamountof
smearingoroverridethefeaturebyselectinglow-orhigh-speedwiping
orturningthewipersystemoff.
