Ifyouarestowingtheflattire:
1.
Removetheextensionboltfrom
theexteriorpocketofthefeltbag.
2.
Step4underStowingthetireand
jack.
Installthejackasshownin
3.
Screwtheextensionboltontothe
threadedstudofthejackretention
bracket.
4.
Withthetemporarysparetireon
thevehicle,placetheflattireinthe
sparetirewellwiththewheelfacingup.
5.
Safelysecurethewheelbyscrewingthelargewingnutontothe
extensionbolt.
Ifyouarestowingthetemporarysparetire,placethetireoverthe
jackandsecureitwiththelargewingnut.
TEMPORARY MOBILITY KIT (IF  EQUIPPED)
Yourvehiclemaybeequippedwithatemporarymobilitykit(locatedin
thesparetirewellinthetrunk).Thetemporarymobilitykitconsistsof
anaircompressortoreinflatethetireandasealingcompoundina
canisterthatwilleffectivelysealmostpuncturescausedbynailsor
similarobjects.Thiskitwillprovideatemporarysealallowingyouto
driveyourvehicleupto120miles(200km)atamaximumspeedof
50
mph(80km/h).
Note:Thetemporarymobilitykitsealantcompoundinthecanisteristo
beusedforonetireonly.SeeyourFordauthorizeddealerforadditional
replacementsealantcanisters.
