Ensurethatthecablesareclearoffanblades,belts,movingpartsofboth
engines,oranyfueldeliverysystemparts.
Jump starting
1.
Starttheengineoftheboostervehicleandruntheengineat
moderatelyincreasedspeed.
2.
3.
Starttheengineofthedisabledvehicle.
Oncethedisabledvehiclehasbeenstarted,runbothenginesforan
additionalthreeminutesbeforedisconnectingthejumpercables.
Removing the jumper cables
Removethejumpercablesinthereverseorderthattheywere
connected.
Note:Intheillustration,thevehicleonthebottomisusedtodesignate
theassisting(boosting)battery.
