somethingiswrongwiththesystem.Rather,itmeanstheforceswerenotof
thetypesufficienttocauseactivation.Sideairbagsaredesignedtoinflatein
side-impactcollisions,notroll-over,rear-impact,frontalornear-frontal
collisions,unlessthecollisioncausessufficientlateraldeceleration.
WARNING:Severalairbagsystemcomponentsgethotafter
inflation.Donottouchthemafterinflation.
WARNING:Iftheside
airbaghasdeployed,the
airbagwillnotfunctionagain.
Thesideairbagsystem
(includingtheseat)mustbe
inspectedandservicedbyan
authorizeddealer.Iftheairbag
isnotreplaced,theunrepaired
areawillincreasetheriskofinjury
inacollision.
