thevehiclestartswiththenewintelligentaccesskey.
Iftheintelligentaccesskeyhasbeensuccessfullyprogrammed,itcanbe
usedtoactivatetheintelligentaccesswithpushbuttonstartfeatureand
canbeusedtostartyourvehicle.

PERIMETER ALARM SYSTEM
Theperimeteralarmsystemwillhelpprotectyourvehiclefrom
unauthorizedentry.
Whenthefollowingtypesofunauthorizedentryoccur:

anydoor,thehoodorthetrunkisopenedwithoutusingthekeypador
theremoteentrytransmitter,
oriftheignitionisturnedonwhenusinganinvalidkey,
theperimeteralarmwillflashtheturnsignallampsandsoundthehorn.
ARMING THE SYSTEM
Thesystemisreadytoarmwhenevertheignitionisoff.Toarmthe
system,dooneofthefollowing:

Pressthe
controlontheremoteentrytransmitter.
Note:Ifyoupressthe
controltwiceontheremoteentry
transmitterwithinthreeseconds,thehornwillchirponcetoletyou
knowthatalldoors,thehoodandtheliftgate/trunkareclosed.Ifany
ofthesearenotclosed,thehornwillchirptwicetowarnyouthat
theyarestillopen.

Pressthedriverorpassengerinteriordoorlockcontrol
doorisopen,thenclosethedoor.
whilethe
Pressandholdthe7•8and9•0controlstogetheronthekeyless
entrypadtolockthedoors(driver’sdoormustbeclosed).
Afterlockingthedoorsusinganyofthemethodsabove,theturnsignal
lampswillflashonceindicatingthattheperimeteralarmisinthe
pre-armedmodeandwillbecomefullyarmedin20seconds.
Note:Pressingthepowerdoorunlockcontrolwithinthe20-second,
pre-armedmodewilldisarmthesystem.
