itisplacedwithinametalcontainerorifitis
shieldedbyadevicewithaback-litLCDscreen,
suchasasmartphone,laptop(includingina
laptopbag),gamesconsoleetc.
OPENINGANDCLOSINGTHE
POWEREDTAILGATE
Note:Makesurethetailgateisfullyclosed
beforeleavingthevehicleunattended.The
visibleandaudiblewarningswillindicateifthe
vehicleislockedandthealarmarmed.Ifthere
arenovisibleoraudiblewarningsuponclosing
thetailgate,thevehiclemaybeunprotected.

Presstoopenthepoweredtailgate.
Presstoclosethepoweredtailgate.
Afterthetailgatehasopenedtoitssetheight,it
canbemanuallyraisedorlowered.Ifthe
tailgatefailstoopenorclosecorrectly,closeit
manuallythenpressthetailgatereleasebutton
again.
Astheclosingtailgatereachesitslowest
position,itwill'softclose’tothefullyclosed
position.Ifthevehiclewaspreviouslylocked
andarmed,thehazardwarninglampswillflash
toconfirmthatthevehiclehaslockedand
rearmedtothepreviouslockedandarmed
state.Anaudiblewarningmayalsosoundas
confirmation.
