Off-roadnavigationwaypointsareshownin
numericalorder.Thenearestwaypointisthe
lastinthelist.Amaximumof35waypointscan
bestored.
ROUTEOPTIONS
Duringaforwardroute,thewaypointwiththe
smallernumberisnearestontheguidance
display.Duringabackwardorreturnroutethe
smallernumberisfurthestaway.
Allowsaccesstothefollowingcommands:
EditRoute
Thesemenuitemsareidenticalinoperationto
theon-roadmenus.
Thebearing(e.g.,R170)anddistance(e.g.,1
mile)isareferencetothenextwaypoint.The
bearingistheanglebetweenthecurrent
headingandthenextwaypoint.Thedisplayed
informationiscontinuouslyupdated.
Amaximumof20off-roadroutescanbe
stored.Whenthemaximumisreached,the
NewRoutesoftkeywillnolongerbeactive.
StopGuidance
Whilethelistisshown,ifthedestinationis
reached,thesystemchangestothemap
screen.
Allowsaselectedroutetobecancelled.Touch
thesoftkeytocancelguidance.Allwaypoints
andiconswillberemoved.
SkipWaypoint
Displayroute
Whileonaroute,thissoftkeycanbeselected
toskipthenextwaypoint.Guidancewillthenbe
giventothefollowingwaypoint.
Thewholeroutecanbedisplayedduring
guidancemode.Itshowsthetotalmileageof
therouteandupdatesasthevehicle'sposition
changes.
TracePoints
IfCurrentTracePointisselectedviaRoute
Options,tracepointiconsareautomatically
placedalongarouteasitistraversed.Theyare
usefultobacktrackalongtheroute,ifrequired.
CCPtoStart(CurrentCarPositiontoStart)
Abackwardorreturnroutecanbemadeatany
time.Allwaypointiconsoftheoriginalroute
areresetandthesystemdrawsstraightlines
betweenthem.
Adjustmentstotracepointoperationcanbe
madeviathesamescreen.Afterselectingthe
EditTracePointoption,changescanbemade
toanyregisteredtracepointroute.
Theoriginalstartpointisnowdesignatedas
thedestinationpointandwaypointsare
numberedincountdownorder.
Selectoneoftheoptionsandmakechangesas
required(e.g.,tracepointscanbeedited,
renamedordeleted).
